This December, the Jumpman will have no shortage of Air Jordan 1s on offer. But before they close out the year with the “Patent Bred,” the brand will first deliver the “Bubble Gum” (AKA the “Atmosphere”) just days before Christmas.
While it may adopt the same color blocking as the “Bred Toe,” the pair does with it some new things. Pink is applied to the toe as well as the heel, polished to a shine as is typical of patent leather. The white mid-panel is far more matted in comparison, appearing just a bit more tumbled than the navy fixtures that build out the toe, eye stay, collar, and Swoosh. Nylon is then sandwiched between by way of the tongue, while the sole underfoot mirrors the palette’s lighter features. And further underfoot, the colorway lives up to its nickname as the left outsole displays a splotch reminiscent of gum.
