Though the Air Force 1 has been reinterpreted in many ways, there’s always one thing that’s universal — keeping them clean — outside of the white girl thing, of course. In the days before cleaning kits, one had to scour away with the old toothbrush to get in those hard-to-reach places — especially on that ribbed outsole. That memory is exactly what inspired this new Air Force 1 Low “Since ’82” — and it comes complete with a special Swoosh-branded brush.
Clad in smooth white leathers, the pair keeps things simple with a set of solid blue Swooshes and accompanying blue branding at the tongue, vamp, midsole, and heel. The latter is delivered in heritage Nike Air branding. Insoles follow in blue, too, with a simple white and gum sole unit rounding out the design.
There is expected to be several additional colorways of this design.
While an official release date for this all-new Air Force 1 Low “Since ’82” has yet to be revealed, the surfacing of the pair would suggest that a release is imminent.
